The Sims has always been a game that is fun and light-hearted, but recently the team at EA released the newest installment in their series – The Sims 4. As a newcomer to this new installment of the popular series, I've been having a blast playing with my virtual life. I totally missed out on all the new features, though – because my eyes are not as real as they should be.
As soon as I found out about how to make your character’s eyes look more realistic, I was game!
This article will teach you how to make Sim 4’s eyes more realistic by following some simple steps. There’ll be tips for making your own mods and creating custom eye textures – which can take time but are well worth it. Also, there will be links to other helpful sites where you can learn more about creating eye textures for your own characters.
How to make your Sims 4’s eyes more realistic
First, you will need to download the Sims 4 Eye Traits Mod. You’ll be able to find this on the community uploader, or if you have it on Origin (EA’s digital distribution site), it should be there.
Next, go ahead and install the mod, but don't launch the game yet! Instead, open up your console of choice – in my case I use sims 4 studio – and type “ts4_enableCheats false”. This lets us use cheats while playing, which is necessary for us to modify our eye textures.
Now type “showObjectSim”, then click on one of your Sims and create a new object (a new Sim). The object that you first click on can be changed by clicking on anything around them.
Now in the Object window that pops up, scroll through until you find “eyes” and click it. If you do not see “eyes” as an option in your list of objects, then make sure that you have selected a human character (so not a dog or a cat) when creating your new object; otherwise, the cheat won't work.
Once you're in eyes mode, select one eye from the menu options.
Creating eye textures for your Sims
One of the main things that make The Sims 4 unique is the ability to customize your characters. And this includes their eyes.
If you want your character’s eyes to look more realistic, you can follow these steps:
1) Create a new folder in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 folder called “Custom Content”
2) Open up an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop and create a new document. This is where you will create your texture for the eyes.
3) In Photoshop, go to Edit>Define Pattern then choose a pattern from one of the many textures available on the internet.
4) Now that you have your texture, open up Sim 4 and use this texture on your character’s eye in Create a Sim. Or if they are already made, just select them and click on Edit in CAS and choose Makeup>Eyeshadow>Texture>Texture 1 or 2, depending on what pattern you chose! You're finished!
Making Sim 4's eyes more realistic with mods
The first thing you’ll need to do is download the latest version of The Sims 4.
To make your eyes look more realistic, you’ll need to use a mod or two. Mods are programs that allow you to change aspects of The Sims 4 without having to download and install an entirely new game. There are a few mods for changing eye textures, but the most helpful ones I found were Eye Density Changer and Custom Eyebrows
With these mods, it takes a little bit of trial and error to figure out how to properly add new eye textures. If you want to simplify this process, I recommend downloading Custom Eyebrows from the asset store as it comes with instructions on how to set them up. You can also follow along with these tutorials by clicking here
Once your character has their eyes done, they’ll look like they have more depth and life than they did before.
Where can you learn more about creating eye textures?
The Sims 4 is a game that has never been about the graphics – it’s about having fun. It’s addicting and frustrating but always worth it.
In order to get the most out of this game, you have to make sure that your character’s eye textures are created well and look as realistic as possible. Since we have our own personal experiences with the game, this post will teach you how to create eye textures for your Sims in The Sims 4. In addition, there will be tips on how to make your Sim's eyes look more realistic by following some simple steps.
New Digital Age – What it means to us now that we live in a digital age.
If you’re new to the Sims 4 and have never played any of the previous games, The Sims is a life simulation game in which players control the lives of virtual people. You start with one Sim and build up their career, family, and relationships.
The Sims has always been a lighthearted game where you could just pick up and play for a few hours if you wanted to – but now that's changing. Now that we live in a digital age, games like The Sims are taking on more realistic features. It's important to understand what this new development means to us as players because it can make a big difference in the way we experience games.
One thing that has changed from previous versions of The Sims is how much time it takes to create your character. In past iterations of the game, your character was instantly generated by computer software; now though, you'll need to use sliders for different body parts such as facial features and hairstyles.
Another change is how much freedom you have in creating your Sim's appearance. You'll be able to customize their skin tone, eye color, height, and skin type, which can be very helpful for creating unique characters for every player. Of course, there are other physical changes too.
Digital Fashion Revolution – The rise of digital fashion and the impact it has had on society.
The introduction of digital fashion has revolutionized the way that fashion is currently distributed.
There are many benefits to digital fashion, such as the ability to share and buy clothing online, as well as the convenience of having clothes delivered or shipped to your door.
However, these advantages come with a huge cost – one that is often overlooked by consumers. The rise of digital technology has led to an increase in the use and production of synthetic materials in clothing, which is creating a dilemma for the environment
What's more, many people are exposed to extreme sexualization through different media platforms. This causes girls and young women to believe that it's okay for them to dress like this and reinforces unhealthy body image norms.
Is The New Fashion – A look at the way games are changing the way we see fashion and what that means for our future.
Long gone are the days of playing dress-up with barbies or playing with dolls that only look like people. Today, games offer us a new world full of different choices and opportunities for fashion. Even those not interested in games can appreciate the way that games have become the new fashion experts for kids and adults alike. Best of all, it is fun to play!
This article will explore how technology has changed the way we see fashion and what it means for our current generation as we continue to grow up through some examples from popular games such as The Sims 4 and Overwatch.
